Toni and Bobbie have been involved in pageants for 30 years. They know first hand of the work involved in the competition, as Toni (At Right on the Right) competed first in baton pageants and then in beauty pageants. Toni's pageant career has been rewarded with 18 crowns and over 40 trophies, and has included honors such as Sunshine Teen Miss Celebrity, Ultimate Sunshine Girl, Miss Auburn, Camellia Queen, Semi-finalist for Miss California USA and 3rd runner up for Miss Arizona USA.
Bobbie (At Right on the Left) has held the titles of Mrs. Personality and Sunshine's Mother of the Year!
The experiences they have encountered are immeasurable both to personal growth as well as being able to share with, educate and develop the young women they work with today.
Bobbie and Toni were introduced to the Sunshine Pageant System which originated in Ohio. They were very impressed with their system which seemed to have the best interests of the contestant at heart. They encouraged friendships and self-improvement, so every one felt they had benefitted from the pageant whether they had won the title or not.
Bobbie and Toni have tried to pattern their events along these lines. They try to give every one enough training that they feel comfortable with modeling, speaking and interviewing. They encourage not making "winning" the only reason for entering a pageant. There can only be one title holder, but they all win with the new self-awareness and friends they make.
They keep all the girls busy all year long with parades and community service projects. Bobbie and Toni have directed pageants since 1982 from all over northern California. They now direct the Miss Auburn & Miss Auburn Stampede Pageants and they are the founders of the Teen Miss Auburn, Junior Miss Auburn, Tri-County Talent Pageants and Greater Auburn's Greatest Mom. They encourage community support so that they can continue this tradition and keep this a scholarship pageant.
